Is Radio Depot an authorized Motorola dealer?
Yes! Radio Depot is the internet division of a Tennessee based two-way radio dealer. We have the honor of being one of the oldest online Motorola dealers, starting in 2005.
Are your Motorola radios new or used?
All our radios (and accessories) are brand new and received directly from Motorola.
Can you program a purchased radio to work with the radios I currently own?
Yes, we offer free programming with purchase, and we can either match up your new radios together or with your current units.
Will I receive any kind of product warranty when I purchase from you?
We support/honor/assist all standard (and extended) Motorola radio and accessory warranties.
Generally, commercial radios include 2 year warranties, professional radios are 5 years, and accessories tend to be 1-2 years depending on the item.
How long will it take to receive my radios?
This is a difficult question to answer as there are a number factors that go into turn around time. Please contact us for precise delivery details.
If we have your radio programming on file, or you want the radios programmed as a new set, we generally ship in 1 business day.
That time can be extended if we need to wait on your master radio to clone or if the product is out of stock. Out of stock items are usually received in ~2 business days.
Do I need an FCC license to use these two-way radios?
The majority of our radios require a FCC license to operate at full power. Radio Depot can help advise and secure a new license for you should you need it.
We also sell a number of radios that can be operated license free such as the VL50 or DTR700.
